This image is painted from a waterway known as Hemlock Channel on Georgian Bay, Lake Huron. Inuksuit are structures of rough stones stacked in the forms of human figures. Traditionally used by the Inuit people for navigation and points of reference. This beautiful grouping of inuksuit sits on the open edge of Georgian Bay marking Hemlock Channel.
